The University of Tennessee’s football program has rolled out a striking new line of orange accessories from Adidas, featuring gloves, arm sleeves and cleats that will debut this fall.
A Strategic Partnership
Beyond the aesthetic upgrade, the partnership carries a financial component that will funnel compensation into the Volunteers’ athletic departments, bolstering recruitment efforts and broader program resources.
Head coach Josh Heupel expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting how the new gear aligns with the team’s vision and the added resources that will benefit the squad.
Debut and Early-Season Matchups
The first appearance of the orange Adidas uniform will come on September 5, 2026, when the Volunteers host Furman at Neyland Stadium, with kickoff slated for 3:30 p.m. ET and a broadcast on SEC Network+ and ESPN+.
A week later, Tennessee travels to face Georgia Tech on September 12, 2026, in a primetime showdown scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
The first SEC contest arrives on September 26, 2026, as the Volunteers meet Texas at noon ET, also on ESPN, marking a high‑profile start to conference play.
Fans can expect a visually bold start to the season, and the added resources from the Adidas deal are poised to strengthen the program’s competitiveness and future recruiting classes.
