The University of Oregon and Oregon State University announced a slate of four non‑conference football games that will stretch from September 2028 to September 2032, effectively ending a two‑year pause that began after the 2025 season.
A historic pause and a new chapter
The first contest is slated for September 16, 2028 at Reser Stadium in Corvallis, where the Beavers will host the Ducks. A year later, Oregon State will travel to Eugene to face Oregon at Autzen Stadium on September 15, 2029. The series will then reconvene in 2031 after another hiatus, before concluding with a September 11, 2032 showdown back at Reser Stadium.
The agreement not only restores a rivalry that has been played since November 1894, but also cements its place as the seventh‑most played matchup in college football history. Oregon currently leads the all‑time series 70‑49‑10 and has won the last three meetings, adding extra intrigue to the upcoming contests.
Beyond the on‑field storylines, the schedule reflects a broader strategy to balance regional exposure with competitive pacing. Fans on both sides of the state line are already marking their calendars, anticipating the pageantry and intensity that have defined this rivalry for more than a century.
