Oregon Ducks Pitchers and Catcher Earn Spots in USA Baseball National Team Camp

Tanner Bradley, Will Sanford and freshman Brayden Jaksa will vie for a place on the 2026 Collegiate National Team ahead of a Taiwan championship

Three Oregon Ducks standouts have earned an invitation to the 2026 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp, a prestigious gateway that brings together the nation’s top college talent for a summer of competition.

The camp, which opens on June 24, will feature a 28‑player roster drawn from the best collegiate players across the country, and the Ducks’ reliever Tanner Bradley, starter Will Sanford and freshman catcher Brayden Jaksa are all slated to take part.

A Freshman’s Rise

Jaksa, a true freshman, also qualifies for the Stripes squad, a group primarily composed of first‑year players, giving him a separate pathway to earn a spot on the final team.

From June 27 through 29 the Stars and Stripes will stage a series of exhibitions, followed by a Stars‑versus‑Stripes showdown that runs from June 30 until July 4, providing the prospects with high‑intensity game‑like situations.

After the exhibition schedule, the national team will travel to Taichung City, Taiwan, for the World Collegiate Baseball Championship from July 11 to 15, where the final 28‑man roster will be trimmed.

Bradley’s season was a masterclass in relief pitching; he finished 5‑1 with a 1.66 ERA, a 0.82 WHIP and 31 appearances, earning All‑America recognition from the NCBWA, Baseball America and Perfect Game.

Sanford posted a 9‑2 record with a 3.74 ERA across 17 starts, striking out 37 batters looking to set a modern‑era Oregon record and collecting Perfect Game All‑America honors.

Jaksa burst onto the scene as a freshman, batting .318 with a .400 on‑base percentage and .534 slugging for an .934 OPS, adding 10 home runs and 17 extra‑base hits while stealing bases at a high rate.

Together, the trio exemplifies the depth of Oregon’s program and the national spotlight on West Coast talent heading into a summer that culminates in Taiwan.
