Three Oregon Ducks baseball standouts — Tanner Bradley, Will Sanford and freshman catcher Brayden Jaksa — have been selected for the 2026 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp, a gateway to the country’s final 28‑player roster.
A fresh batch of talent
The camp, which begins on June 24, will see the three Ducks vying alongside dozens of peers for a place on the national squad that will later compete in a series of exhibitions and a tournament in Taiwan.
Jaksa, despite being a freshman, earns a spot on the ‘Stripes’ team, a group primarily composed of first‑year players, giving him an early chance to showcase his abilities.
The training schedule includes an exhibition slate from June 27 to 29, followed by a five‑game series running through July 4, before the team travels to Taichung City, Taiwan, for the World Collegiate Baseball Championship from July 11 to 15.
Bradley’s 2025 season was one of the most dominant relief performances in the nation. He finished 5‑1 with a 1.66 ERA, a program‑record 0.82 WHIP and 31 appearances, earning All‑America recognition from the NCBWA, Baseball America and Perfect Game.
Sanford, meanwhile, posted a 9‑2 record with a 3.74 ERA across 17 starts and set a modern‑era Oregon strikeout‑looking record of 37. His effort secured him Perfect Game All‑America honors and a spot on the All‑Big Ten Conference team.
Jaksa’s freshman campaign was equally impressive. He batted .318 with a .400 on‑base percentage and a .534 slugging percentage, posting a .934 OPS, 10 home runs and 17 extra‑base hits while ranking third on the team in batting average and stolen bases.
The trio’s inclusion underscores the Ducks’ growing influence on the national stage and sets the stage for a potentially historic run in Taiwan.
