Oregon’s baseball program continues to make waves on the national stage as two of its standout pitchers, Tanner Bradley and Will Sanford, have been selected for the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team.
A Historic Opportunity for Oregon Baseball
The duo faced off against a pool of 53 elite college players from across the country during an intensive 11‑day evaluation period, a process that culminated in their inclusion on the national roster.
From July 11 through July 15, Bradley and Sanford will travel to Taiwan to compete in the World Collegiate Baseball Championship, where they will square off against teams from Korea, Chinese Taipei and Japan.
Their participation marks a milestone, as they become the first Oregon athletes to don the Team USA uniform since 2018, underscoring the program’s growing influence in collegiate baseball.
The upcoming championship promises high‑stakes competition, with the Oregon pitchers poised to showcase their talents on an international platform.
Beyond the personal achievement, their presence reflects the effectiveness of Oregon’s development pipeline and the broader impact of collegiate baseball in the Pacific Northwest.
