Orlando City Soccer Club Proposes New USL Stadium in Melbourne

Proposed 54‑acre site near the airport could be ready by March 2028, pending council approval

Orlando City Soccer Club’s founders have submitted a proposal to construct a USL soccer stadium on a 54‑acre parcel of undeveloped airport property in Melbourne, Florida.

The site, located off the south side of NASA Boulevard, east of Broadband Drive, west of Woody Burke Drive and north of Hibiscus Boulevard, would serve as the home ground for a USL team that sits one tier below Major League Soccer.

Paperwork and related applications have been filed with Melbourne City Hall, where the city council will review the plan as part of its upcoming agenda.

If the council gives the green light, construction could begin shortly thereafter, with the facility potentially ready for use by March 2028.
