The high school baseball season in the Oshkosh and Fond du Lac area has drawn to a close, leaving behind a slate of memorable performances and a final chance for the community to weigh in on its top talent.
A reader‑chosen player of the year poll is now open, featuring 31 seniors who earned all‑conference honors across the Fox Valley, Trailways‑East, Flyway and Bay conferences. Voting remains open until noon on Friday, June 26, and the franchise is open to anyone, not just subscribers.

Among the nominees, Jackson Anderson of Oshkosh North earned first‑team all‑conference accolades in the Fox Valley Association, while Chase Beahm of Waupun played a pivotal role in the state tournament as a top hitter. Coy DeVries of Ripon dazzled on the mound with 107 strikeouts, and Shay Otto of Ripon batted .494 with 39 hits, underscoring the depth of talent on display.
Other notable names include Jack Brenner of Fond du Lac, the Fox Valley Association player of the year, and Noah Bouras of Winneconne, who was a unanimous first‑team selection in the Bay Conference. The list also celebrates freshmen phenoms such as Sutton Nelson of Waupun, who contributed both on the mound and at the plate, and Avery Mosloski of Oshkosh West, a first‑team all‑conference choice.
