Ospreys Unveil 2026 Men’s Soccer Schedule

Balanced slate promises tough tests and home‑field advantage as the program eyes another championship run

The University of North Florida announced Thursday that its men's soccer program has finalized a 2026 schedule that blends competitive challenges with a balanced home‑and‑away format, setting the stage for a demanding season.

The slate comprises 18 matches, half played on the Osprey's home turf and half on the road, giving the team a chance to fine‑tune tactics against a variety of opponents and to test different tactical approaches.

Key Matchups

Among the opponents are traditional powerhouses such as Clemson, Florida Atlantic and Saint Louis, as well as seven ASUN Conference rivals, three of which will be hosted in Jacksonville, creating a diverse set of challenges.

Coach Marlon Montanella said the schedule is designed to test the squad in multiple ways, from set‑piece battles to high‑pressing encounters, and to ready the team for the rigors of postseason play.

The Osprey's recent run of back‑to‑back ASUN titles and consecutive NCAA Tournament berths adds a sense of momentum, as the program looks to translate past success into another deep tournament run.

North Florida entered the season with a perfect 6‑0‑1 record at home in 2025, and the upcoming stretch promises another strong showing, highlighted by a four‑game homestand in September that will showcase the team's depth.

Travel will also be a factor, with the team heading out for three straight road games against Florida Atlantic, South Florida and Jacksonville before returning to face College of Charleston and Queens, testing the squad's resilience on the road.

The regular season will wrap up on October 31 at Lipscomb, after which the 2026 ASUN Men's Soccer Championship will unfold from November 7‑14 at campus sites, offering a final chance to claim conference honors.
