The 2026 Prep Baseball Nebraska Top Prospect Games took place on May 24, drawing more than 110 of the state’s most highly regarded prospects onto a single field.
College coaches from over thirty programs filled the stands, their eyes scanning each swing and pitch as they evaluated talent that could shape the next generation of collegiate players.
A catcher’s breakout
Among those evaluated, Owen Brown, a catcher from Adams Central High School, stood out with a combination of defensive poise and offensive spark that caught the attention of several recruiters.
His performance has earned him a spot in the event’s weekly standout series, a narrative that will continue to unfold as the season progresses and more players are examined.
