The Brantford Bulldogs have secured the commitment of forward Owen DeGraff, a 6‑foot‑3, 200‑pound power player who spent the last season with the Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Hockey League.
A Versatile Offensive Threat
DeGraff hails from Odessa, Florida, where he built a reputation for blending physical presence with a knack for generating offense. In his draft year he recorded 26 goals and 51 assists, amassing 77 points across 78 games, a performance that caught the eye of several junior programs.
Prior to his USHL stint, the forward honed his skills with the Long Island Gulls AAA program, a stepping stone that prepared him for the transition to North American junior hockey.
Recognition Beyond the Scoresheet
His achievements extended beyond raw statistics. DeGraff earned a place on the USHL All‑Academic Team, underscoring a commitment to scholarly excellence, and he was selected for the 2026 Chipotle All‑American Game, a showcase that highlights the nation’s top prospects.
General Manager Spencer Hyman praised the new acquisition, noting that DeGraff’s size, competitiveness and ability to influence the game in multiple ways align perfectly with the Bulldogs’ strategic vision.
Expressing his enthusiasm, DeGraff said he is eager to join the Bulldogs organization and contribute to a team that values hard work and skill development.
Looking Ahead
The Bulldogs hope that integrating DeGraff into their lineup will bolster offensive depth and provide a competitive edge in upcoming matchups. As the team prepares for the next season, the addition of a player who blends size, skill and intellect could prove pivotal.
