Pace Prosser Takes the Next Step
Pace Prosser, a 20‑year‑old guard from Pennsylvania, has pledged to join Siena University’s men’s basketball program after a standout two‑year stint at Gannon University, where he helped the team capture a Division II national championship and earned Division II All‑American honors.
His commitment marks the first transfer to sign with new Siena coach Nevada Smith, signaling a fresh direction for the program as it prepares for the upcoming 2026 FIBA 3×3 Nations League Americas Conference in Ñuñoa, Chile, scheduled for June 27 through July 3.
Prosser will join a USA Basketball 3×3 roster that includes Hank Alvey, CJ Gunn, Kevair Kennedy, Eric Daily Jr., and Brady Swartz. The squad will be guided by longtime USA 3×3 coach Todd Monsey, with Jimmer Fredette serving as managing director.
At Gannon, Prosser posted averages of 18.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, and he capped his sophomore season with a 28‑point, 11‑rebound, five‑assist, five‑steal performance in the championship win over Lander.
The Nations League tournament serves as a crucial qualifier for the 2026 FIBA 3×3 U23 World Cup, which will be staged in Wuhan, China, from September 15 to 19. Competing in Chile will give Prosser and his teammates valuable experience on the international stage.
Beyond his collegiate achievements, Prosser’s selection follows a stint at the USA Basketball 3×3 Men’s Development Camp in Phoenix earlier this May, where he refined his skills under the guidance of national staff.
