The winning goal came in the 85th minute when sophomore forward Ruby Almanza delivered a precise pass to Kylie Sowders, who finished the move for the fourth tally.
Almanza, who appeared in 17 games last season and recorded two goals and an assist, showed the form that earned her a larger role this year.
