A Home‑Town Homecoming for Parker Kligerman
Parker Kligerman, a native of Westport, Connecticut, is set to compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Lime Rock Park on July 11, bringing his racing program back to the track where his career first took off.
The race, known as the LIUNA 150, will feature Kligerman behind the wheel of the No. 77 Delaware Life Chevrolet Silverado RST, a partnership that also reflects his partial ownership of the historic 1.53‑mile road course.
This weekend’s schedule includes not only the Truck Series but also the ARCA Menards Series and USF Juniors, turning the event into a multi‑division showcase on the seven‑turn, 1.53‑mile circuit.
Fans can enjoy a free NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Hauler Parade and Pit Stop Party on July 9, while active military members and veterans receive complimentary admission with proper ID, and children 12 and under get in free on Friday and Saturday when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
Kligerman’s connection to Lime Rock Park dates back to his childhood visits and his first laps behind the wheel on the same asphalt that will host the upcoming race, a fact that adds a personal narrative to the competition.
Last year’s LIUNA 150 set a modern attendance record for Lime Rock Park, and organizers hope the combination of hometown pride, community activities, and a full slate of racing will once again draw a large crowd.
