The Adirondack Thunder have announced the re‑signing of forward Patrick Grasso for the upcoming 2026‑27 campaign, locking the veteran in for another season.
Grasso, 30, arrives with a franchise‑record 101 career goals and a reputation for clutch performances, having topped the team’s scoring charts in each of the past three seasons.
Grasso’s Path to the Thunder
Before joining the Thunder, Grasso honed his skills abroad, spending stints in Austria, Sweden and Northern Ireland, while his five‑year tenure at the University of New Hampshire produced a Hockey East All‑Rookie Team nod in 2016‑17.
Last year he posted 33 points in 49 games, a solid contribution that helped the Thunder stay competitive in the ECHL, and his best professional output came in 2022‑23 when he tallied 59 points.
A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Grasso also excelled in the United States Hockey League, where he recorded 106 points in 196 games and earned a reputation as a reliable two‑way forward.
