Middlebury College announced this week that Patrick Peluso will join its football program as an assistant coach, focusing on the running backs and tight ends.
A Player‑Turned Coach
During his collegiate years at Fairleigh Dickinson University‑Florham, Peluso was a key contributor to the Devils’ football and lacrosse squads, a period that also saw him recognized repeatedly for his scholarly performance.
He spent the past two seasons at Princeton University serving in an offensive quality‑control role, where he collaborated closely with the coaching staff to refine game plans and player development strategies.
Prior to his time at Princeton, Peluso honed his coaching skills at Immaculata High School in New Jersey, guiding high‑school athletes on both offensive and defensive schemes.
Peluso holds a degree in sports management from Fairleigh Dickinson University‑Florham, where he graduated with honors and was named to the Middle Atlantic Conference Academic Honor Roll each semester.
Middlebury’s head coach said the program is excited to welcome a coach whose blend of analytical insight and hands‑on experience aligns with the team’s ambitions for continued growth.
