Commitment Day at Cabrini
Paytin Hawes, a senior at Allen Park Cabrini High School, has signed her national letter of intent to play soccer at Cleary University, marking the latest milestone in a four‑year varsity career that includes 33 goals this spring.
Hawes will continue her education and athletic pursuits alongside teammate Madisyn Smith, who also committed to Cleary in recent weeks.
The announcement comes as the Monarchs prepare to open their state playoff run on Thursday, May 21, a match that could extend Hawes’ high school legacy.
In a separate development, Bradley Pelc, a member of the boys varsity soccer program, has signed with Indiana Tech for the upcoming season.
Looking Ahead
Cleary University, a private institution located in Michigan, will welcome both Hawes and Smith into its soccer roster, where they will aim to contribute to the team’s competitive ambitions.
The commitments underscore a growing pipeline of talent from Cabrini’s soccer program, highlighting the school’s role in developing student‑athletes who excel both on the field and academically.
