Penn State's field hockey program is gearing up for the 2026 season with the arrival of nine new players, a mix of transfers, freshmen and a graduate student.
A New Generation of Talent
Head Coach Hannah Prince expressed enthusiasm about the incoming class, emphasizing the blend of skill, competitiveness and varied backgrounds that each athlete brings.
Among the transfers, Cam Standish arrives from Ohio State, where she earned academic and athletic honors, while Ella Gaitan joins from Blair Academy and the University of Maryland, bringing a strong collegiate pedigree.
The roster also features six freshmen and a graduate student, each of whom has distinguished themselves at their respective high schools and club programs.
Macy Adams, a dual‑sport captain in field hockey and lacrosse, has collected multiple honors, while Chloe D’Hage, an Australian standout with a perfect GPA, has captained multiple teams and earned academic accolades.
Sienna Dunn represents England on the national stage and has amassed several awards, and Lilly Holmes leads Millfield School as captain, also a recipient of prestigious recognitions.
Lilah Grace Logan, daughter of a former college athlete, balances her studies on the honor roll with a promising hockey career, and Marie McCracken, a multi‑sport athlete, boasts a long list of academic and athletic achievements.
Rounding out the class, Kira Takahashi‑Trader is an All‑America athlete who plans to major in business, adding a blend of athletic excellence and academic ambition.
Coach Prince highlighted that the newcomers’ diverse experiences — from high school stardom to national team participation — will enrich the squad’s depth and competitiveness as they aim for a strong season.
