Penn State Unveils Ambitious $700 Million Beaver Stadium Renovation Ahead of 2026 Season

Coach Matt Campbell tours the West Tower construction, highlighting new premium spaces and a timeline that aims for a full debut in 2027.

Penn State is pouring a $700 million investment into Beaver Stadium, the home of the Nittany Lions, as part of a multi‑phase effort to transform the venue into a year‑round entertainment destination.

Premium Experiences for Fans

The emerging West Tower will accommodate a series of premium amenities, including the Marzano Club with 2,500 club seats, multiple bars and an outdoor terrace, as well as the Schuyler Family Club, a 25,000‑square‑foot space designed for about 2,000 fans.

At the heart of the project is the PAM Healthy Misitano Family Tower, named for alumnus Anthony Misitano, who contributed a $25 million gift that helped launch the initiative.

New bleacher seating on the west side will rise above the former press box, delivering a better view for fans while the lower‑bowl replacement is slated for demolition after the 2026 season as part of Phase III.

The renovation also adds a Welcome Center and expands premium seating options, with 2027 season tickets priced from $4,500 for the Marzano Club to $4,900 for the Schuyler Club, and a $10,000 capital gift required for each Nittany Lion Club account to purchase tickets.

Pat Kraft, the university’s athletic director, emphasized that the upgrades are intended to boost revenue, attract donors and keep Beaver Stadium competitive with other flagship venues across the nation.

If the timeline holds, the fully renovated stadium will debut in 2027, positioning the venue as one of the largest and most versatile college football facilities while maintaining its No. 2 ranking in attendance.
