The Pepperdine women's soccer team faced USC on Thursday, playing to a 1-1 stalemate that marked the first encounter between the programs since 2014.
USC opened the scoring in the 17th minute when Lily Biddulph found the net, but the Waves answered back in the second half.

Julia Quinonez converted a penalty kick in the 52nd minute to level the contest, and freshman Erin Ha earned her first collegiate start in goal for Pepperdine.
Goalkeeper Jillian Medvecky made three saves in the latter half, while USC managed six corner kicks despite being outshot 13-10, with seven of those attempts on target.
Coach Tim Ward praised the team's effort, calling the performance “great” and highlighting the resilience shown after falling behind early.
