Webb served as Maine Basketball Commissioner for 27 years, overseeing the state’s high school and amateur leagues, while his 65‑year affiliation with the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials (IAABO) saw him rise to the role of President and Coordinator of Interpreters.
A longtime member of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Rules Committee, Webb helped craft the rulebook that governs high school basketball across the United States, ensuring that the game remained fair and accessible.
