Philadelphia Hosts World Cup Celebrations with Phang’s Kids Club Events

Special activities for young fans coincide with key matches, offering free community fun.

Philadelphia's World Cup Celebration

The FIFA World Cup is set to light up Philadelphia, and the city is marking the occasion with a series of community‑focused events organized in partnership with the Philadelphia Union’s Soccer Celebration.

On June 13, members of Phang’s Kids Club will dive into a lineup of exclusive activities at Union Yards, including airbrush tattoos, sand art, face painting and a chance to win jibbitz for their bracelets.

Science Meets Soccer

A week later, on June 19, the Franklin Institute will bring a live science show to the celebration, featuring hands‑on experiments that blend curiosity with the excitement of the tournament.

The festivities culminate on June 25 with a PJ Party timed to the USA’s final group‑stage match against Turkey, where fans can enjoy a s’mores‑making station, caricature drawing and other themed fun.

All events are free and open to the public, but many of the activities — such as the airbrush tattoos, sand art and the special MVP tent check‑in — are reserved for Phang’s Kids Club members, encouraging young supporters to engage directly with the tournament.
