Roster reshuffle ahead of Brewers doubleheader

A debut to remember
Infielder Jack Brannigan made his major‑league debut on Tuesday night, striking out in his lone plate appearance as the Pirates edged the Atlanta Braves. The appearance came just before he was optioned back to Triple‑A Indianapolis, where he will continue to develop.
Right‑handed pitcher Thomas Harrington, who joined the club on Friday, did not see action before being sent down, while Noah Murdock was added as the 27th player for the second game of the doubleheader. Murdock, 2‑2 with a 3.74 ERA across three minor‑league affiliates this season, provides additional depth for the second contest.
