Yaroslav Nikonov, a 6‑5 guard originally from Russia, has signed with the Vikings, joining a squad that captured the Big Sky Conference regular‑season championship last spring.
A Strategic Addition for the Vikings
Nikonov arrives after a standout stint with CSKA‑2 Moscow, where he served as team captain and logged 17.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in the Russian Superleague. His shooting efficiency was equally impressive, boasting a .479 field‑goal percentage, a .833 free‑throw rate and 47 three‑point makes on 24 appearances.
