The Nashville Predators are set to welcome a wave of emerging talent to the city this summer as they launch their 2026 Development Camp, running from June 28 through July 3. The initiative brings together the league’s most promising prospects, all selected in the 2026 NHL Draft, for a intensive blend of physical evaluation, on‑ice work and professional development.
Opening day begins with medical physicals on June 28, followed by the first on‑ice sessions on June 29. Prospects will take the ice at Centennial Ice Rink from June 30 to July 2, with each practice open to the public on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Fans can also enjoy the Draft Picks bar and restaurant on the facility’s second floor before, during and after the action.
Future Stars Game
The week’s centerpiece is the Future Stars Game, presented by Ticketmaster, scheduled for July 3 at 10:30 a.m. CT at Ford Ice Center Bellevue. The intrasquad contest will be open to the public, with seating available on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Smashville Loyal members will have access to a reserved seating area under the same conditions. The game will be streamed live on NashvillePredators.com with commentary from Willy Daunic and Chris Mason, and will also air on 102.5 The Game featuring Pete Weber, Max Herz and Jay More.
Scott Nichol, the Predators’ Assistant General Manager and Director of Player Development, will head the camp alongside Strength and Conditioning Coach David Good. Their leadership ensures that prospects receive instruction on sport‑specific power and strength enhancement, flexibility, and off‑ice conditioning, while also participating in video sessions, nutrition education and team‑building activities.
A complete development camp schedule will be released after the 2026 NHL Draft, which begins Friday at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo. Until then, the Predators promise a week that not only sharpens athletic abilities but also educates participants on the professional pathways that await them in the NHL.
