A Summer of Competition
The Premier Valley Basketball League is gearing up for a major growth spurt this season, swelling to twelve teams and roughly one hundred twenty players across the region.
Organizer Jaimon Edison says the league was created to give adults who missed out on college basketball a chance to stay active, compete, and enjoy a healthy outlet after high school.
Games will be played each Sunday from May 24 through August 23 at Wellsville High School, where spectators can enjoy food trucks and a lively atmosphere while paying a modest five‑dollar admission.
Professional videographers and photographers will be on hand to capture the high‑intensity games, adding a production value that organizers hope will attract more fans and sponsors.
Edison envisions the model spreading to other sports, including a future women’s league and even flag football, signaling ambitions that go beyond the court.
