Presbyterian College women's soccer head coach Matt Smith has unveiled the full 2026 schedule, a 16‑match campaign that blends non‑conference road trips with a compact home stretch at Martin Stadium.
The season opens on August 16 with a home game against Alabama State, marking the first of several early contests before the team travels to seven different venues.
A demanding non‑conference slate
Seven of the 16 matches will be played at Martin Stadium, giving the squad ample opportunity to rally its home crowd as it builds chemistry.
Key opponents on the slate include High Point, the 2025 conference tournament champions, as well as Gardner‑Webb, Charleston Southern and Longwood, each promising competitive tests early in the year.
Conference battles and tournament outlook
Conference play begins on September 19 with a matchup against UNC Asheville, and continues with home fixtures against South Carolina State on October 6 and Charleston Southern on October 10.
A two‑week stretch in October will host four straight home games, culminating in the regular‑season finale on Halloween against Radford, after which the Big South tournament will commence on November 5, offering an automatic NCAA Tournament bid to the champion.
