A Season of Scholarship
The Princeton Tigers women's ice hockey squad has once again made headlines, this time for academic achievement as all 22 roster members earned spots on the ECAC All-Academic Team.
To qualify, each player must hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 or have posted a 3.0 average over the last three semesters, a standard that the team has consistently met.
Coach’s Praise
Head coach Courtney Kessel praised the collective effort that underpins the program’s success, noting that the team’s cohesive culture extends beyond the rink.
Among the standouts, Teja Gatfield was singled out for the ECAC Commissioner’s List, recognizing her as the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at the close of the 2025-26 academic year.
The roster reflects a diverse academic tapestry, with players pursuing studies in fields ranging from neuroscience and psychology to economics and engineering, underscoring the university’s commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship.
