Summer Camp Rollout Across North America
The Professional Women’s Hockey League is rolling out more than 30 summer camps across North America during July and August, targeting players from the under‑six age group up to adult leagues.
UPS has signed on as the title sponsor for the Canadian leg of the program, pledging financial grants to communities that lack access to hockey infrastructure.
Coaching and Player Mentorship
Each camp is directed by professional coaching staff and features mentorship from current PWHL athletes, giving participants a chance to learn from the sport’s rising stars.
Registration is now open through the league’s official site, thepwhl.com, where families can select the location and session that best fits their schedule.
A notable example is Gem Winter, a U15 player who attended last year’s Toronto Sceptres camp thanks to a UPS‑funded grant, illustrating the program’s reach into grassroots talent.
Camps are scheduled in a diverse set of markets, including Vancouver, Halifax, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston, as well as U.S. cities such as Los Angeles, Anaheim, Seattle, Duluth, Hermantown, St. Paul, Superior, Traverse City, Rochester, West Orange and Boston.
