Purdue’s men’s basketball program has locked in a high‑profile non‑conference matchup, welcoming Cal Baptist to West Lafayette on December 21 for a much‑anticipated showdown.
A New Challenge for the Boilermakers
The Lancers arrive after a 25‑9 campaign that featured their first NCAA Tournament appearance, a opening‑round loss to Kansas, and a historic transition from Division II to Division I in 2018.
Purdue comes off a 30‑9 season that culminated in an Elite Eight run, giving the Boilermakers a strong foundation as they prepare to test their mettle against a rising opponent.
The non‑conference slate also includes a neutral‑site clash with Gonzaga in Las Vegas on November 2, a home game against Tennessee on December 12, and road trips to Iowa State, while the Boilermakers will host Valparaiso and Illinois State later in the season.
Big Ten play will see Purdue engage in home‑and‑away battles with Indiana, Illinois and Rutgers, and travel to face Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Oregon, Penn State, Washington and Wisconsin throughout the conference schedule.
