Purdue’s women’s basketball team will travel to Disney World in November 2026 to take part in the third annual WBCA Showcase, where it is slated to meet Florida State and Texas Tech in back‑to‑back contests.
The first game is scheduled for November 19 at 11 a.m. at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex’s State Farm Fieldhouse, followed by a matchup against Texas Tech on November 21 at 2:30 p.m.
These contests mark the first non‑conference games announced for Purdue’s 2026‑27 schedule and will serve as an early test for a roster that has been completely reshaped.
A revamped roster brings new faces and familiar names
Only four players return from last season, among them Taylor Henderson, who missed the previous year due to injury, while the team added three freshmen and six transfers during the offseason.
Purdue finished the prior year with a 13‑17 record, making the upcoming games an important benchmark for a squad looking to rebuild under a new coaching staff.
