Lineup shifts ahead of Sunday's Quaker State 400
The Quaker State 400, the NASCAR Cup Series event scheduled for this Sunday at EchoPark Speedway — commonly known as Atlanta Motor Speedway — will kick off at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with live coverage rolling on TNT Sports.
Four adjustments to the starting grid have been confirmed since the previous race at Chicagoland Speedway, including the withdrawal of two non‑chartered entries and the introduction of two fresh cars that did not compete in Illinois.
Among the notable absences is NY Racing Team’s No. 44 Chevrolet, which will not appear on the Atlanta entry list, and 23XI Racing’s No. 67 Toyota driven by Corey Heim, who recorded his best oval performance at Chicagoland but will sit out the Georgia race.
Garage 66, operating under the MBM Motorsports banner, is slated to field the No. 66 Ford for veteran Chad Finchum, while Live Fast Motorsports will run the No. 78 Chevrolet for B.J. McLeod, a driver who last competed in the February Atlanta event.
Finchum, who has logged four starts this season with his most recent outing at Nashville Superspeedway in May, returns to the track after a brief hiatus, whereas McLeod, who contested two races earlier this year, looks to build on his February performance in the Georgia capital.
These shifts underscore the fluid nature of the Cup Series roster, where emerging programs and veteran drivers alike jostle for positioning as the season progresses toward its climax.
