Quentin Coleman, an incoming freshman at the University of Illinois, has earned a place on the 2026 USA Basketball Men's U18 National Team that will compete in the FIBA U18 Men's AmeriCup in Leon, Mexico, from June 1‑7.

The St. Louis native capped his high school career at Principia School with a 23.1‑point average, 6.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.7 steals per game, leading his squad to a state championship and earning first‑team MaxPreps All‑American and Gatorade Missouri Player of the Year honors.

Camp in Colorado Springs

Coleman’s selection followed a six‑day training camp in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where 32 prospects were evaluated before the final 12‑player roster was finalized.

He will be joined by teammates such as Bruce Branch III, Adan Diggs, Caleb Gaskins, Demarcus Henry, Jasiah Jervis, Malachi Jordan, Taylen Kinney, Colben Landrew, Ethan Taylor, Davion Thompson and Darrius Wabbington, all coached by head coach Anthony Grant along with assistants Matt Langel and Nate Oats.

Group Play and Schedule

The United States is slotted in Group A alongside Argentina, Brazil and host Mexico. The Americans will open against Argentina on June 1, face Mexico on June 2 and meet Brazil on June 4, with the group winners advancing directly to the semifinals on June 6 and the medal games scheduled for June 7.
