The Quincy High football team wrapped up the 2025 season with a 7‑4 overall record, capping the year with a 28‑14 victory over arch‑rival North Quincy on Thanksgiving.
Head coach Ed DeWitt, now in his third year at the helm, will guide a rebuilt squad after the departure of All‑Scholastic running back and defensive back Leo Steinberg, who finished his senior campaign with 1,072 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns, plus three interceptions and 14 tackles for loss on defense.
Looking Ahead to 2026
The 2026 schedule features a slate of opponents including Revere, Braintree, Stoughton, New Bedford, Scituate, Plymouth South, Hanover and Pembroke, with the season opener set for September 11 at 6 p.m. against Revere.
A traditional Thanksgiving showdown with North Quincy is slated for November 26 at 10 a.m., promising another chapter in the long‑standing rivalry.
