Richmond Announces Video Coordinator
The University of Richmond has named Quinn Harmon as its new video coordinator for the men’s basketball program, a move that signals the school’s intent to bolster its analytical and developmental capabilities ahead of the 2026‑27 season.
In this role Harmon will direct the entire video department, from editing game footage to producing scouting reports, while also lending his expertise to player recruitment, team camps and the logistical demands of travel.
From Butler to the Pros
Harmon’s collegiate journey began at Butler University, where he started as a team attendant and quickly ascended to head manager of the men’s basketball squad during the 2024‑25 campaign, overseeing practice strategy, player development drills and travel logistics.
A year with the Indiana Fever in the WNBA gave him professional exposure, and a summer internship with the NBA in Las Vegas during the 2025 Summer League further refined his understanding of high‑level basketball operations.
Graduating in 2025 with a degree in sports media and a minor in strategic communications, Harmon blends analytical rigor with a deep appreciation for the storytelling aspects of the game.
A Local Talent With Global Experience
Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Harmon brings a Midwestern work ethic that aligns with the Richmond coaching staff’s vision for building a competitive, forward‑thinking program. His diverse background equips him to bridge the gap between on‑court performance and the evolving demands of modern basketball analytics.
