Quinnipiac University’s field hockey program has officially released its 2026 schedule, a 19‑game slate that marks the team’s return to the Northeast Conference after a decade in the Big East.
The upcoming season opens with back‑to‑back home contests against Bryant and Vermont, setting an energetic tone before the squad travels to face Bucknell and Brown in early September.
Notable Matchups and Milestones
A highlight comes on September 11, when Quinnipiac hosts Hofstra for a Mental Health Awareness Game, followed by the NEC opener against Sacred Heart at Yale’s Johnson Field on September 18. The Bobcats will also test themselves against Columbia in New York on September 20, and later welcome Rider and Wagner in late September for Breast Cancer Awareness and Bobcat Weekend.
The schedule reflects the program’s recent resurgence, highlighted by a 10‑win campaign in 2025 — the first such season since 2013 — and a historic 1999 NEC championship that still resonates among current players.
Later in the season, the team will observe Youth Day with a home game against Yale on October 25 and conclude regular‑season play with a matchup against Stonehill on October 30, providing a platform for community outreach and fan engagement.
