Quinton Coats, a sophomore infielder for the Cincinnati Bearcats, has been named to his fifth All-America team by the College Baseball Foundation, underscoring his sustained excellence on the collegiate stage.
A season of milestones
During the 2026 campaign he shattered single‑season school records with 28 home runs and 183 total bases, while his 79 runs batted in matched the program’s RBI record. He finished the year batting .339 and slugging .738, placing him among the nation’s top ten in each of those categories.
The honor follows a series of accolades that already include selections by ABCA/Rawlings, Baseball America, NCBWA and Perfect Game, as well as a District 5 Player of the Year award and All‑Region commendations from ABCA/Rawlings.
Coats’ consistent production not only cements his status as one of the premier hitters in college baseball but also positions him as a strong prospect as he looks ahead to the next chapter of his career.
