Qurahn Anderson, a former Windsor Forest High School basketball standout, has announced his transfer from the University of South Carolina Beaufort to Lander University, marking the next chapter of a career that has already drawn attention across the Peach Belt Conference.
During two seasons with the Sand Sharks, Anderson posted career averages of 11.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game, highlighted by a 23‑point outburst against Middle Georgia State and a series of double‑digit performances that included three blocks, five assists and six steals in various matchups.
Off the court, Anderson earned a place on the Peach Belt presidential Honor Roll, underscoring his commitment to academic achievement alongside athletic pursuits.
His high school years were equally impressive; Anderson was named Region 3‑AA Player of the Year as a senior and earned all‑state honors, a testament to his dominance in Georgia’s competitive high school ranks.
A New Chapter at Lander
After a redshirt season that kept him out of competition during 2024‑25, Anderson returned in 2025‑26 to average 12.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists per night, and he posted a season‑high 23 points with six rebounds against Middle Georgia State, five assists versus Clayton State and four steals against Georgia College.
Coaches and teammates alike anticipate that his blend of scoring ability, defensive versatility and disciplined work ethic will add depth to Lander’s roster as the program looks to build on recent successes.
