A Dual Commitment to Healing
Raiden LeGall, a goaltender with the Everett Silvertips, has turned his on‑ice presence into a conduit for mental‑health advocacy, reaching fans in Snohomish County and beyond.
Partnering with longtime coach Tim Morison, LeGall helped design a line of clothing whose proceeds fund Camp Erin, a grief‑support camp that serves children and teens across an international network.
Grief, Resilience, and a Shared Vision
The campaign is further strengthened by Eden Health Care Services, a Manitoba‑based organization that specializes in mental‑health and community‑wellness programs, extending the initiative’s reach into the province.
Morison’s personal journey took a tragic turn in 2022 when his wife Nikki experienced a stillbirth; the couple later named their daughter Rae in tribute to LeGall, underscoring the deep ties that bind their families.
On February 27, the Morisons and LeGalls staged a ceremonial puck drop in Everett, raising more than $14,000 for mental‑health causes and earning LeGall a nomination as a finalist for the WHL Humanitarian of the Year.
Their story illustrates how sport can become a platform for resilience, encouraging open conversations about mental health and demonstrating that community support can emerge from shared loss.
