The Baltimore Ravens Foundation, Inc. announced a new round of grants that will support 24 nonprofit youth sports programs throughout Maryland, delivering assistance to more than 4,200 young athletes representing over 300 teams. The initiative, bolstered by a collaboration with Under Armour, supplies participants with jerseys, cleats, sports bras, Guardian Caps, field equipment and specialized emergency response accessories.
On August 5, the Ravens organized a large-scale training camp that brought together roughly 2,500 participants from the selected programs. Held at the Under Armour Performance Center, the event featured hands‑on instruction from local coaches and included a CPR and AED workshop led by Rescue One for the recipients of emergency response gear.
Year‑Round Support Through Ravens RISE
Beyond the one‑time grants, Ravens RISE continues to champion youth football across Maryland and Delaware. The program distributes equipment year‑round, recognizes exemplary coaches, and hosts community events such as training camps, tournaments and developmental clinics, all aimed at fostering healthy growth for children in the region.
Expanding Impact Across the Mid‑Atlantic
The selected programs serve diverse populations in 13 Maryland counties, including Anne Arundel, Baltimore City and surrounding areas, while also reaching into neighboring Delaware. By partnering with local organizations and leveraging the resources of both the Ravens and Under Armour, the effort seeks to create lasting opportunities for athletic participation and personal development.
