Real Salt Lake is back on the road as the 2026 MLS campaign rolls forward, with a Wednesday night showdown against Los Angeles Football Club followed by a Saturday clash in Portland.
The club currently sits fourth in the Western Conference with 26 points, a position bolstered by a dominant home record that includes eight wins, one loss and no draws so far this season.
Adding to the excitement, RSL recently recorded a 4‑1 victory over Burnley FC in an exhibition match, giving the squad confidence heading into the next stretch.
A Packed Schedule
However, the schedule will be relentless; the team faces eleven games over the next 44 days, a grind that tests both depth and stamina.
During that stretch, Real Salt Lake will host three Liga MX sides in the Leagues Cup 2026, welcoming Tigres UANL, Atlante CF and FC Juarez to Utah.
Tigres UANL’s history with RSL dates back to a 2016 Concacaf Champions League encounter, while Atlante FC returned to Liga MX after acquiring Mazatlán’s franchise, and FC Juarez will make its first visit to Utah as part of the tournament.
The Leagues Cup this year carries extra weight, offering three berths to the 2027 CONCACAF Champions Cup, a prize that could reshape the continental pathway for the participants.
