On lap 132 the No. 45 23XI Racing Chevrolet suffered a sudden loss of coolant as a fragment from a rear‑diffuser stay punctured both the radiator and the oil cooler, forcing the car to the garage for emergency repairs.
Repair and Recovery
NASCAR ruled the damage a mechanical issue, granting Reddick permission to make the necessary fixes. The team worked through the night, but the time lost dropped him to 36th place at the checkered flag.
The setback cost Reddick roughly 30 laps in the garage and left him 44 points behind veteran Denny Hamlin, a gap that looms large with only a handful of races remaining in the season.
Reddick’s recent form has been inconsistent, with three of his last four outings finishing 25th or worse, underscoring the challenges faced by the 23XI Racing program as it fights to stay in contention.
