The Reed City girls soccer team wrapped up a season that ended with a 2‑9‑0 record in the Central State Activities Association and a 2‑13‑1 overall tally.
Coach Andrea Moma, in her eighth year with the program, emphasized that the team's primary goals were to learn, have fun, and build chemistry, objectives that were met despite the modest win‑loss column.
A Season of Learning
The young roster, still mastering fundamentals, faced the challenges of varsity play, and a tournament shootout emerged as a highlight of the campaign.
Senior midfielder Abbey Pollaski, who recorded six goals and one assist, provided steady control throughout matches, a contribution that extended beyond raw numbers.
Looking Ahead
Pollaski, also involved in indoor and travel soccer, will attend Baruch College to pursue a degree in Psychology, carrying the team's lessons into her next chapter.
The program anticipates another young group next season, building on the chemistry and growth experienced this year.
