In the Division 3 bracket, Lumen Christi routed Springport 6-0, a result that not only secured a spot in the regional final but also marked the first district title for Springport since 2001.
Kellen Crowley went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and earned the win on the mound, while Wes Learned drove in two runs to back the effort; Jake Kregel led Springport with two hits.
Lumen Christi will now meet Plymouth Christian in the Division 3 final, a matchup that promises another test of resilience.
Division 3 also saw Jonesville edge Centreville 9-8 in nine innings, with Carson Young delivering the walk‑off single that plated the winning run.
Marshall Baker contributed two hits for Jonesville, and the team will next face Detroit Edison in the regional championship.
In Division 4, Hudson dominated Concord 14-1 in just six innings, a performance highlighted by Gavin Yatzek and Liam Timm each collecting two hits.
