Reign FC is set to host the second annual RISE Together Match, a soccer event that blends competition with a powerful community mission.
Presented by CVS Health, the match marks the club’s continued commitment to using soccer as a platform for social good, building on last year’s successful partnership with local nonprofits.
Community Impact Takes Center Stage
At the heart of the event is a drive to assemble Back‑to‑School kits for Mary’s Place, a Seattle‑based organization that supports homeless families.
Last season, fans constructed 1,000 kits filled with water bottles, crayons, notebooks and other essential supplies, and this year the club aims to double that number.
Season Ticket Members will have an exclusive area to contribute to the kit‑building effort, underscoring the club’s emphasis on member engagement beyond the stands.
A Star‑Studded Community Moment
NWSL legend Lynn Biyendolo, currently on maternity leave, will return to Seattle to lend her voice and presence to the match, staying mic’d up throughout the day.
Her participation will be highlighted by a “Scarves Up” moment that also features Seattle Storm star Ezi Magbegor and a representative from Mary’s Place, creating a symbolic gesture of solidarity.
The collaboration extends to RAVE Foundation and Looking Out Foundation, both of which join Reign FC and Mary’s Place in supporting the initiative.
CVS Health supplies the materials for the kits and encourages its employees to volunteer during the event, reinforcing a shared commitment to community health and education.
The match aligns with Reign FC’s RISE Purpose Platform Commitments, which focus on equity in play and life, as well as protecting the Salish Sea and advancing opportunities for girls, women and gender‑diverse people.
