Summer Camp Brings Big-League Experience to Reno's Youth

The Reno Aces are set to open their doors to a new generation of ballplayers this July, hosting a three‑day baseball camp at Greater Nevada Field that promises a taste of professional instruction.

Former Major League catcher Chris Gimenez and utility player Chris Aguila will serve as guest coaches, sharing insights from their MLB careers with children aged 9 to 13.

Running from July 27 through 29, the camp operates daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering drills, skill work and a chance to meet fellow enthusiasts in a fun, supportive environment.

Participation comes at a price of $325, with registration closing on July 20, ensuring that interested families have ample time to secure a spot before the limited slots fill up.

As an added incentive, every camper will receive a complimentary ticket to the Aces' July 24 game against the Tacoma Rainiers, giving them a chance to see the team in action after honing their skills.
