Financial considerations also play a larger role, as the university’s full revenue share for 2026 promises more resources, and Rodriguez noted that smarter money management has become a cornerstone of his program’s strategy.
The coach stressed that alignment among the administration, the board and the fan base will be critical, and the team will open the upcoming season at home against Coastal Carolina on September 5, a game that could set the tone for the months ahead.
