Rienk Mast inks Exhibit 10 deal with Indiana Pacers after stellar Nebraska career

The Dutch big man's journey from Bradley to Nebraska's Sweet 16 run lands him a chance with the Pacers

Rienk Mast, the 6‑foot‑10 Dutch big man, has signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Indiana Pacers, a move that comes shortly after the 2026 NBA Draft.

Mast’s college journey began at Bradley, where he spent four seasons before transferring to Nebraska, amassing 1,894 points, 1,094 rebounds and 351 assists.

At Nebraska he helped the Huskers achieve two of three consecutive 20‑win seasons and their first Sweet 16 appearance, while averaging 13.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists in his senior year.

A resilient rise

A knee injury in May 2024 sidelined him for the 2024‑25 campaign, but Mast returned in 2025‑26 to record a triple‑double against FIU, the third in Nebraska history, and to cement his place among the program’s most impactful players.

The signing also underscores Nebraska’s growing pipeline to the NBA, a trend sparked by coach Fred Hoiberg, who has guided alumni such as Dalano Banton and Bryce McGowens into professional contracts.

Joining Mast on the Pacers’ radar are fellow Hoiberg protégés Sam Hoiberg, Brice Williams and Keisei Tominaga, all of whom have spent time in the G League, while Mast’s own resilience may yet translate into a roster spot.
