The suggested venue would serve youth leagues, adult recreational teams and community events, aiming to provide a year‑round venue for the sport that has grown in popularity across the region.
‘The Village’ retail and restaurant corridor
In a separate but related initiative, municipal officials are exploring the creation of a new mixed‑use district on Trevor Way, stretching between Unser and Westside boulevards.
The development, branded as ‘The Village’, would bring a collection of retail shops, dining establishments and potentially ancillary services to the corridor, revitalizing a stretch of road that has seen limited investment in recent years.
