RiversideTV, the municipal access channel of the City of Riverside, has announced a full‑season rollout of live high school football broadcasts and Riverside City College (RCC) matchups for the 2026 campaign.
Live Coverage and Community Impact
The inaugural broadcast aired on Friday, August 21, featuring a showdown between Hillcrest High School and Poly Tech High School, setting the tone for a schedule that will run through the end of October.
Each Friday night, after the final whistle, the station airs a Pep Rally at 11 p.m., delivering highlights, player interviews and a celebration of the week’s top performances.
Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson emphasized that local football represents student athletes, coaches, families and school communities, underscoring the cultural significance of the games.
Broadcasts are available online at RiversideTV.com/local-sports, on YouTube, and via cable on Spectrum channel 3, AT&T channel 99 or Frontier channel 21.
A Season of Community Celebration
The schedule includes high school games from August 21 to October 30, with kickoffs at 7 p.m., and three RCC matchups — Golden West versus RCC on September 5, College of the Canyons versus RCC on September 12, and Chaffey versus RCC on October 8 — providing a diverse slate of competition.
Beyond the scores, the coverage aims to spotlight the community spirit that fuels the sport, celebrating student achievements and fostering a shared sense of pride across Riverside’s neighborhoods.
