Robby Dambrot has officially joined the University of Pittsburgh’s men’s soccer program as an assistant coach, bringing a blend of professional playing experience and collegiate success to the staff. The announcement was made on June 18, 2026, and underscores the program’s continued focus on recruiting talent with both on‑field and developmental expertise.
Dambrot’s playing career spanned seven years across the USL Championship, where he suited up for Loudoun United FC, Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, and Indy Eleven. His contributions helped the Riverhounds post a 4‑0‑1 record in 2022 and guided Indy Eleven to a playoff appearance the following year. In 2025, he was part of a Loudoun United squad that earned its first-ever playoff berth, a milestone that highlighted his ability to elevate teams during critical moments.
Beyond the professional arena, Dambrot excelled collegiately at the University of Akron, where he was a member of three Mid‑American Conference championship teams.
